Welcome to the website of the Second Paris Spring Corporate Finance Conference, May 27/28, 2010!
The First Paris Spring Corporate Finance Conference on May 28/29, 2009 was a highly successful start of the new Paris Spring Corporate Finance Conference series (http://www.fbfcorporatefinance.fr/conference2009). The 2010 conference will take place at the headquarters of Fédération Bancaire Française (FBF), and is being co-sponsored by the FBF, HEC Paris, and the Université Paris-Dauphine as part of the FBF Chair in Corporate Finance. Edith Ginglinger, Ulrich Hege, and Bill Megginson are the conference co-chairs. Jean Tirole (Université de Toulouse) has agreed to participate as a keynote speaker.
This conference will cover a wide range of topics in the area of corporate finance that include corporate aspects of the financial crisis and of financial cycles, the use of leverage, and in general capital structure and payout policy, security issuance, financial regulation, M&A, private equity, corporate governance, privatization, long-term and short-term investors, internal capital markets and corporate risk management. The call for paper can be found here.
We expect the paper selection process to be highly selective since only about a dozen papers will be selected. If you would like to submit a paper, please follow the directions here to do so by the deadline of November 15, 2009.
